What is the parking situation?

Valet parking is available for $10 for day parking and $40 for night parking.
Street parking and paid garage parking (not affiliated with The Iron Horse Hotel) are also available.

Do you have adjoining rooms?

You know...with the door in between the rooms.
Yes. If you would like adjoining rooms, please call our reservations department or front desk ambassadors at 888.543.4766 and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Do you have ADA compliant rooms?

Yes, we offer a variety of accessible rooms to guests.
Our guest rooms feature roll-in accessibility and accessible transfer. Please see ADA Accessibility under our “rooms” section for specific room features, visit our accessibility page, or call our reservations department or front desk ambassadors at 888.543.4766 for any additional questions.

Do I need to provide a credit card in order to book my room?

You bet — In order to guarantee your room, we will need that credit card.
The Iron Horse Hotel requires you to provide a credit card number at the time of reservation, either by phone or online. Your credit or debit card will not be charged until you arrive at the hotel unless you select a pre-payment option.

What is your cancellation policy?

You gotta give us at least a two day notice...
The Iron Horse Hotel requires that you cancel your hotel room at least 48 hours before your scheduled check-in time (3 p.m. CST on the day of arrival). If you fail to cancel by that time, you are subject to a cancellation fee of room and tax for one night. To cancel your reservation, please find your confirmation number and call our reservations department or front desk ambassadors at 888.543.4766.

How can I make a special request regarding my stay?

Turn your stay into something really friggin' great!
Our goal is to ensure every guest has a memorable visit. We will do our best to accommodate any requests. Special requests can be made while booking your room online or by telephone with our reservations department. Forget to make your request prior to your stay? Simply speak to one of our front desk ambassadors, who will do his or her best to accommodate your request.

How do I modify my reservation?

We get it...things tend to change once in a while.
To modify your reservation, please find your confirmation number and call our reservations department or front desk ambassadors at 888.543.4766 and we will do our best to accommodate your changes.

Are dogs allowed to stay at the hotel?

Fur babies give The Iron Horse Hotel two paws up!
Yes! We gladly welcome dogs of all sizes. If you’re bringing a furry friend during your stay, please let us know when you reserve your room. There is a $100 pet fee. To give your doggie the VIPooch treatment, check out our Big Dog Package.

Does the hotel accept walk-in reservations?

Planning ahead is your best bet. But if you find yourself here, you can still come on in.
If you would like to stay at the hotel, please visit the front desk where one of our front desk ambassadors will be happy to create a reservation for you, pending availability.

Do you have a loyalty program?

We don't. But we'd still like to welcome you as our guest anyway.
We also strive to create memorable (and rewarding) experiences for all of our guests during their stay.

May I ship items prior to my arrival?

Ship away. We gladly accept any items sent prior to your stay.
We kindly ask that you inform our reservations department or one of our front desk ambassadors so it may be notated on your reservation.

What if I forgot a personal care item?

Happens to all of us at one time or another.
The Iron Horse Hotel strives to anticipate our guests every need. We keep many personal care items on hand, like toothbrushes, on hand for guests who need them.

When can I check in?

Check in begins after 3p.m.
If you would an early check in, please contact our reservations department or front desk ambassadors at 888.543.4766 and we will do our absolute best to accommodate an early check in, based on availability. If you are checking in past 11 p.m. CST, please call 888.543.4766 to avoid a cancellation of your reservation.

When do I have to check out?

Check out is anytime before noon.
If you require a late check out, please contact our reservations department or front desk ambassadors at 888.543.4766 and we will do our absolute best to accommodate your request.

Can I leave my luggage at the front desk?

Yes, we would be happy to look after your luggage.

Do you provide complimentary WiFi?

Nowadays, it better be fast and free. That's what we offer.
Wireless internet is available and indeed free of charge to all guests of The Iron Horse Hotel.

Is breakfast included?

Breakfast is not included in the price of the hotel room but is available from 6:30 to 11:30 a.m. on first floor restaurant, Ash.

Is room service available?

Yes, we offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as weekend brunch, for room service.

Can I invite guests to my room?

We happily welcome your guests in the hotel but they need to be accompanied by the guest who holds the reservation for security purposes.

Do you have smoking areas in your hotel?

We are a smoke-free property with the exception of our outdoor seasonal space, The Yard.
The Wisconsin non-smoking law prohibits smoking indoors in public places, including workplaces with two or more walls.

Is it possible to have a cot in the room?

Unfortunately, due to fire codes, we are unable to offer cots or rollaway beds.

Is there a Fitness Center or spa services?

We proudly offer these upgraded amenities.
We offer a 24-hour fitness facility. In addition, massage services are available by booking your treatment prior to or during your stay. Do you offer amenities for bikers?

Yes, The Iron Horse Hotel is a moto-centric hotel that celebrates the joy of the ride.
We offer a variety of amenities for those staying with their trusty iron steeds. On-site motorcycle parking, a bike wash station, heavy-duty check-in carts and custom in-room hooks for hanging heavy leathers are just a few of the resources offered.

Is there a business center?

We feature a boutique business center adjacent to our Library
We offer a computer, complimentary WiFi, access to printing and desktop business supplies. Please stop by our front desk to arrange for printing.

When do I pay for my stay?

A method of payment is required upon arrival. The hotel will authorize your card for your length of stay plus incidental charges.

What credit/debit cards do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Diners Club cards. We do not accept personal checks.

How can I extend my stay?

Please visit the front desk to check availability and to extend your stay. We would be happy to have you for as long as you would like!

I left a personal item at the hotel, what are my next steps?

If you think you’ve left a personal item at our hotel, please contact us at 888.543.4766.
We will do our best to retrieve any lost items and will ship them to you. Kindly note the hotel is not responsible for items left during your stay.
